Qantas is seeking a full‑time fixed‑term Resource Planner based at the Mascot Corporate Campus in Sydney, on a 7‑day rotating roster to support the Workforce Planning team. You will manage forward rostering to minimise late shifts and expensive changes, analyse workload impacts, and partner with key stakeholders to optimise outcomes within budget. The role prioritises strong business partnering, planning and analytical skills, knowledge of Awards/EBAs, and familiarity with rostering tools GroundStar is advantageous. Demonstrate calm under pressure, clear decision making and accountability. As a Resource Planner, you will be managing the forward planning process to minimise late shift and roster changes that inflate operational costs. You will analyse the operational and staffing impacts for the roster in relation to workload demand requirements. In addition, you will identify and decide actions to be taken in relation to operations and staffing impacts within the given budgeting parameters. Working closely with your key stakeholders, you will consider and implement risk management options to support coverage requirements where required.
