Synopsis
Plan medium and long term manpower needs to optimize staff assignment while ensuring assigned staff is compliant with legal and business requirements.
Accountabilities
- Create, develop and maintain a detailed short, medium and long term manpower plan in alignment with flight scheduling and operationsâÃÂàneeds, to ensure optimization of manpower capabilities and compliance with requirements
- Perform simulations and âÃÂÃÂwhat ifâÃÂàscenario analysis to optimize manpower cost while ensuring the best allocation of available resources
- Identify and analyze manpower data, trends and business drivers (e.g. seasonal schedules, financial requirements, etc) to identify medium and long term resourcing plans
- Periodically review and update medium/long term planning to ensure staff compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
- Collaborate with Finance department in defining and validating manpower budget to ensure compliance with finance guidelines and companyâÃÂÃÂs targets
- Track and define KPIs to create report to management on manpower resourcing and budgeting
- Plan and publish manpower rosters to provide timely communications to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Performance Managers by timely communicating disciplinary/ training/ medical issues to ensure timely adoption of corrective and disciplinary actions
- Highlight to management risks and potential issues to ensure timely adoption of corrective actions and minimize impacts on operations
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and advanced analytical techniques for workforce planning, capacity modelling, forecasting, and business intelligence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) with demonstrated experience delivering low-code business applications and process automation solutions.
- Strong capability to analyse large operational datasets and translate findings into strategic recommendations and management insights.
- Experience designing and maintaining KPI dashboards, forecasting models, and automated reporting solutions.
- Passion for leveraging technology, automation, and data-driven decision making to enhance operational efficiency and resource optimization.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in relevant field if with Degree, or minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field if no Degree
