Supercheap Auto is hiring a Retail Area Manager for the Central North Island to lead stores, grow profitability and build teams.   • Driving Sales & Profitability - Own regional performance by delivering sales, margin and wage targets while unlocking productivity and profitability opportunities across your stores.
  • Commercial Leadership - Use data, financial insight and strategic thinking to drive smarter decisions, coach Store Leaders and continuously improve business outcomes.
  • Inspiring People Leadership - Build high-performing, inclusive teams through strong coaching, clear expectations and meaningful development pathways.
  • Customer First — Always - Champion exceptional omni-channel experiences by leveraging customer insights and empowering teams to put customers at the heart of every decision.
  • Leading Change & Building Relationships - Lead transformation with confidence while building strong stakeholder partnerships and ensuring disciplined execution of key initiatives.

 What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ retail experience, with multi-site leadership exposure.
  • Proven success managing large teams and competing priorities.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to translate insight into action.
  • Exceptional leadership capability — coaching, development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.
  • Confident communicator who influences with impact.
  • A growth mindset, curiosity, and passion for delivering outstanding results through people.
