Rebel Sport is seeking a Retail Area Manager for VIC North to own the region’s performance, maximise profit, lift store capability and embed operational excellence across locations. You’ll partner with Store Leaders and the Retail Operations team to drive sales growth, customer-first behaviours, gross profit and wage efficiency while executing company strategy. The Role…In this role, you will own the performance of your region — maximising operating profit, elevating store capability and embedding operational excellence across every location. 

You’ll partner closely with Store Leaders and the Retail Operations team to drive: 

  • Sales growth and operating profit
  • Customer-first behaviours and ensure every decision improves the end-to-end journey
  • Gross profit optimisation and productivity improvements
  • Wage management and operational efficiencies
  • Commercial decision-making at store level
  • Execution of company strategy and initiatives 

This is a role for someone who sees the bigger picture — and knows how to translate it into daily execution.

About You…You’re an experienced retail leader who understands that commercial success is driven through people

You bring:

  • Proven Retail Leadership - • 5+ years’ experience in retail, including multi-site leadership
  • Team & Operational Excellence - • Demonstrated success leading large teams while managing competing priorities
  • Commercial Acumen - Strong financial literacy with confidence interpreting data and driving performance outcomes
  • Performance Coaching - Proven track record of developing leaders to deliver consistent results
  • Strategic & Hands-On - Ability to think strategically while executing operationally
  • Influential Communicator - Clear, confident communication style with strong stakeholder influencing skills
  • Decisive & Courageous - Willingness to make tough decisions when required
  • Education - Tertiary qualification in Retail, Business or related discipline (desirable)
