Australia Post is seeking a casual Retail Customer Service Officer on a relief basis at Mackay Post Office. You’ll handle customer sales and service, high-value cash transactions, identity services including passport interviews, upselling, mail and parcels lodgements, stock control, and relationship building with customers. The six-week paid training runs Monday to Friday, 8.45 am to 5.06 pm, followed by rostered hours Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, with shifts across Mackay and Mackay West and potential for permanent roles. Qualifications include proven customer service and cash handling experience, fitness to lift 16 kg, and a collaborative mindset. Emphasize community impact and inclusivity.
