You’ll thrive in fast-paced live retail and guide store teams through change, with strong troubleshooting and coaching skills. Ideal candidates bring retail or FMCG experience, exposure to SAP deployments or large-scale systems, end-to-end supermarket ops, excellent organisation and stakeholder management, willingness to travel and flexible hours. Te Tūranga – About the role

We’re looking for a team of hands-on Retail Deployment Specialists to help deliver major technology rollouts across our store network, starting with SAP implementation and followed by national POS deployment. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you’ll work directly with stores to ensure systems, people, and processes are ready for go-live! These roles are 12-month fixed-term opportunities.

  • Support stores through every phase of deployment, including readiness, training, cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilisation.
  • Partner closely with store owners, operational teams, programme partners, and support teams to deliver smooth system transitions with minimal disruption to trading.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, live retail environments and confidently lead stores through change.
  • Provide hands-on support across training, coaching, and operational setup activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly during deployment and go-live activity.
  • Ensure store teams feel supported, capable, and confident throughout the deployment journey.

 

He kōrero mōu – About you

You’ll bring strong retail or FMCG experience, ideally with exposure to SAP deployment, retail operations, or large-scale system rollouts. You understand how supermarkets operate end-to-end and are comfortable working directly with store teams in fast-moving, real-world environments.

You’re highly organised, resilient under pressure, and confident managing multiple stakeholders across stores, programme teams, and senior leaders. Experience with POS or front-of-house technology rollouts will be highly regarded, along with the ability to train and coach others through operational change.

A willingness to travel and work flexible hours during deployment activity is essential.
