Your Responsibilities

LOCATION: Germany : Cologne, Hamburg, or Munich.

  • You will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of retail media (retailer marketing / trade marketing) revenues both existing revenue and business as well as new business development.
  • You will be the face to the client externally and our internal counterpart for sales related questions about our retail media products.
  • You will monitor, optimize, and further develop existing products based on continuous market Feedback to internal departments.
  • You will be the point of contact for sales and product-related topics and will work as a liaison with sales, product, and Ad Operations departments, as well as technical service providers and marketing partners.
  • Creating and updating our sales materials (presentations, pricing documents, informational materials, etc.) as well as present sales pitches to clients is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You will be a business developer, and project manager, working in interdisciplinary project teams with direct product relevance.
  • Internally, you will act as an operational contact person, strategic advisor, and custodian of our products, while critically examining their performance. You will optimize existing processes, established structures, and procedures.
  • You are passionate about innovation, identify and develop business opportunities, and shape the further expansion of the retail / trade marketing business, both across products and countries.
  • You will support projects for the development and enhancement of scalable retail / trade media marketing products and services, focusing on tools and processes for digital campaign management, reporting, and sales monitoring.

 

Your Profile

  •  Minimum Graduate degree in Media / Marketing / business related education
  • You have solid professional experience in marketing and monetizing advertising products and know which key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics are important in retailer marketing (e.g., in the FMCG sector, the retail environment, or a media agency).
  • You have experience with DSP, SSP, or ad server technologies and ideally have already worked with them.
  • You are skilled in project management and possess fundamental competencies in product development and pricing.
  • You have excellent knowledge of standard MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You impress with a confident and assertive demeanour, combined with outstanding communication skills and like to sell pur products to our clients as well as pitching for new clients.
  • You are a team player who strives for continuous improvement with a high level of commitment. You are characterized by your independent and solution-oriented approach.
  • Fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level), both written and spoken, complete your profile.
