Petstock Papamoa NZ is recruiting a part-time retail sales assistant for a NEW STORE, with opportunities across full-time, part-time and casual roles at Papamoa and Bethlehem. You will deliver warm, knowledgeable customer service to pet lovers, educate customers on care and products, help hit store sales targets, keep the store appealing and well stocked, and support a safe, collaborative team. The ideal candidate loves pets, has retail experience, can lift up to 20 kg, and is flexible to work weekends and public holidays. Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career? 

• A passion for animals and providing the best customer service 
• Experience in a similar retail environment 
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target 
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
• Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kgs 
• Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays

• Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals 
• Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
• Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work each and every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
