Canucks Sports & Entertainment is hiring Retail Sales Associates to staff the team store and arena kiosks during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver. This part time, onsite position requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, engaging product demonstrations, merchandising and replenishment, accurate cash handling and POS transactions, and helping the team hit daily and monthly sales goals. You’ll assist with inventory, floor plans, signage, and loss prevention, and participate in year end counts. POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Retail Sales Associates play an active role in delivering exceptional customer service and selling merchandise to our fans at the team store and other kiosks around Rogers Arena. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. This role focuses on:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and providing a friendly and welcoming environment
• Engaging customers through open-ended questions and demonstrating the product
• Assisting with indirect service initiatives including merchandising, replenishment, floor plans, signage, organization, and product layout
• Working with the store manager on loss prevention techniques and inventory controls
• Accurately handling cash and effectively processing transactions using POS system
• Responsible for daily opening and closing duties including cashing in and end of day paperwork
• Accurately processing customer mail orders and shipping details
• Striving to hit daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Actively working to meet our retail goals (arena knowledge, product knowledge, active service, and recovery)
• Participating in year-end inventory and cycle counts
• Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A commitment to teamwork and working in a fun and friendly atmosphere
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with an eagerness to learn more about the retail industry
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• A natural ability to communicate with people with confidence and professionalism
• A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
