Returning Assistant Store Manager at Spirit Halloween in Peterborough, this full-time onsite role is for candidates who have previously served as an ASM with Spencer’s or Spirit Halloween. You’ll support the Store Manager with staffing, setup and teardown of a seasonal store, merchandising and key operations aimed at maximizing sales and profitability while delivering excellent guest service. You’ll also help develop staff, control expenses and shrinkage, and manage inventory. The job requires 18 plus, a flexible schedule, and the physical demands of standing, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management is required. Hourly rate ranges from $19.60 - $19.85 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.
