Returning Assistant Store Manager at Spirit Halloween in Brampton is a full-time onsite role for candidates who have previously held this position with Spencer’s/Spirit Halloween. The hourly rate ranges from $19.60 to $19.85 with premium pay for Set-Up and Tear Down and End of Season, subject to qualifications. You will support the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-out and teardown of a Seasonal Store while driving guest services, staff development, expense control and inventory management. Requirements include 18+, a flexible schedule, prior retail management experience, and the ability to stand 8+ hours, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.
