Spirit Halloween is hiring a Returning Assistant Store Manager for a full-time onsite role in Richmond Hill at $19.60 to $19.85 per hour, plus end of season and premium pay programs subject to qualifications. This position is for candidates who previously served as an Assistant Store Manager for Spencer’s or Spirit Halloween and supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, and teardown of a seasonal store. The emphasis is on guest services, developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and solid inventory management. Requirements include 18+ and a flexible schedule, 8+ hours standing, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and prior retail management experience. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store ensuring maximum sales/profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and must have a flexible schedule. The physical demands of the job require 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required.
