Your tasks

In the Industry segment of HUBER+SUHNER, RF and Microwave products are developed and manufactured for global needs. The product management and R&D department for Cable Connectivity is responsible for global product and technology development as well as product management. Our comprehensive product range and expertise include RF Connectors, Cables and Cable assemblies, Lightning Protectors. We are looking for a RF Development Engineer in our Product Development – RF Technology team.

  • Contribute to innovative product development projects in accordance with the HUBER+SUHNER Product Development Process
  • Develop and optimize RF components and assemblies with a strong focus on achieving outstanding electrical performance
  • Take responsibility for electrical design, simulations, verifications, and the technical validation of RF solutions
  • Support the development of new technologies, processes, and product concepts for advanced high-frequency applications
  • Analyze and solve technical challenges related to performance, quality, manufacturability, and product improvement
  • Plan, conduct, and document RF measurements, simulations, and test campaigns
  • Support customers and internal stakeholders with signal integrity and PCB layout simulations for high-speed and RF applications
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Market Management, Operations, suppliers, and customers throughout the entire product lifecycle

Your profile

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Strong expertise in RF/Microwave Engineering, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Material Science, and Component Design
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulations and FEM-based tools such as HFSS or CST
  • Knowledge of modern RF measurement technologies and laboratory equipment (VNA, PNA)
  • Experience with RF components, interconnect systems, or high-frequency assemblies is an advantage
  • Knowledge of signal integrity analysis and PCB layout simulations is a plus
  • Strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Self-driven, innovative, and passionate about new technologies
  • Fluent English is required; German language skills are considered an asset
