CPKC is seeking a Roadmaster in Toronto to lead unionized crews, oversee all track operations and maintenance in the Toronto Subdivision, and uphold Transport Canada safety and regulatory standards. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic planning, including emergency response and seasonal contingency planning, capital project delivery, materials management in TAMS, and monthly safety reviews with T&E teams. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid license, at least five years of track renewal/maintenance experience with two years directing teams, and fluency in MWED. On-call duties are required. Management Conductor Program
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
