We are currently seeking a Roofing Labourer to join our team.

Role overview:

To assist in the delivery of high-quality roofing repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment services to properties. The role supports qualified roofers on-site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards in line with tenant satisfaction and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist roofers in carrying out roofing works, including flat and pitched roof
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from vehicles and work areas.
• Help set up and dismantle access equipment, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Clear roof debris and maintain clean and tidy workspaces.
• Remove old roofing material as directed, ensuring safe disposal.
• Mix and prepare materials like mortar, bitumen, adhesives, etc.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Support site safety by following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate respectfully with tenants and the public while working on-site.
• Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly targets.

You Will Need:

• Experience in general construction or roofing labouring.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures on construction sites.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take instruction from supervisors and tradespeople.
• Knowledge of roofing systems and materials.
• Driving licence.
