Heubel Shaw is hiring a Customer Safety Trainer in Kansas City, MO to develop and deliver on-site forklift and aerial equipment safety training, conduct OSHA mandated Certified Operator Training, and coordinate Raymond certification for customers and employees. You will attend the Train the Trainer program at Raymond, prepare training materials, present in person or via webinars, mentor guest trainers, and work with Sales to promote safety training while keeping documentation current. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, at least two years of formal safety training experience, and solid time management and communication skills; a two-year degree or technical certifications are preferred. Customer Safety Trainer (Kansas City, MO)

Position Summary:

Prepare and conduct on-site training classes regarding safety of operating forklift/aerial equipment in accordance to corporate practices and procedures, regulatory requirements, and Raymond specific requirements.  Perform OSHA required Certified Operator Training for Customers and Employees.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities, Training Coordinator:

  • Attend the Train the Trainer Program at Raymond.
  • Coordinate the certification process through Raymond, ensuring that Heubel Shaw meets the stated requirements for the number of certified technicians.
  • Document and maintain all training materials in appropriate databases.
  • Assess training needs and certification requirements
  • Prepare training material, conduct presentations and/or webinars.
  • Teach training skills to “guest technical trainers”.
  • Develop and conduct on-going safety training as requested.
  • Promote and Sell Training to Customers and coordinate/communicate with Sales Department
  • Additional projects as requested by the manager.
  • Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Work with all departments and employees to ensure quality of customer service.

               -Motivation to educate and mentor other technicians

               -Time management and communication skills to effectively prepare and deliver training

 

Minimum Qualifications:

               -High school diploma; two-year degree and/or technical related certifications strongly preferred

               -At least two years’ experience carrying out safety training in a professional setting
