Bayer seeks a Sales Agronomist III for North Central North Dakota, residence-based with about 60 percent travel, to lead Bayer portfolio plans for growth growers, build grower relationships, and deliver agronomic insights that drive farm performance. You will work with Field Sales Representatives and partners to execute demand generation, advance trials, provide whole-farm agronomic guidance, monitor activities and inventory, and contribute strategic recommendations while managing SG&A costs. Required are agile communication, strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, digital fluency, and strong analytical and negotiation skills, plus the ability to rapidly build influential relationships; preferred are a bachelor’s in agriculture or related field and 8+ years in agriculture, sales, or tech with remote-team experience. The Sales Agronomist (SA) plays a crucial role as a local expert on Bayer Crop Science products, technology, and innovations, advising key growers to drive in-season success. You are responsible for fostering business growth by establishing new relationships, identifying pain points, and providing agronomic-driven advice and insights throughout the season. Your expertise will be pivotal in expanding Bayer's market share and ensuring the seamless execution of agronomic strategies from planning to harvest.
