Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and technically savvy Sales Engineer to join our team in Rotterdam, Netherlands. As the Sales Engineer for the Benelux region, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's growth by combining your technical expertise with strong sales skills to deliver innovative solutions to our clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Benelux region, understanding their technical needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with the engineering team to customize products and services to meet client requirements
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations
- Provide technical support and training to clients on our products and services
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted strategies for the Benelux market
- Travel within the Benelux region to meet clients and attend industry events
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in the Benelux region
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering products and services
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Dutch; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
- Familiarity with Benelux market dynamics and business practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Benelux region
