Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business development by targeting small accounts and new customers in line with the company’s growth objectives
  • Implement an internal action plan to identify and develop the full potential of assigned small customers and prospects
  • Conduct prospecting activities (calls, emails, follow-ups) leading to the opening of new accounts
  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of opportunities, account openings, and recurring sales, and prepare regular reports on activities and results
  • Proactively manage a portfolio of small customers to achieve sales and retention objectives
  • Take ownership of the account development process, from prospect qualification to account activation and first order
  • Maintain a structured process for managing accounts and opportunities using the CRM
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition of higher-potential accounts
  • Advise customers and prospects on available products and brands based on their needs and company objectives
  • Present and explain purchasing programs, promotions, and applicable manufacturer programs
  • Keep knowledge up to date on products, the market, and the tire industry
  • Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with customers, internal partners, and manufacturers

Qualifications

Requirements: To Succeed in This Role

  • Relevant experience in inside sales and customer service (3 to 5 years, depending on the desired profile)
  • Experience in prospecting and opening new accounts (strong asset)
  • Good understanding of sales processes and the customer development cycle
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • Strong customer service and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Team spirit and ability to collaborate with field sales teams
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work with targets and objectives
  • Bilingualism (French/English – advanced level) required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication between regions
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CRM systems
