Nutrien Ag Solutions is hiring a full-time Sales Merchandise professional for the Echuca branch, onsite and reporting to the Branch Manager. What You'll Do:
Based at our Echuca branch and reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll support local farmers, primary producers and trade customers across fertiliser, logistics and general merchandise. This role is suited to someone who can manage the fertiliser department, keep backend merchandise processes running smoothly across SAP, inwards goods and pricing, and understand the pace of peak and quieter agricultural seasons. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Assist customers with product questions and pricing, providing clear and friendly service in-store and by phone.
- Manage SAP, inwards goods, pricing, inventory, ordering, deliveries and dispatches to keep stock accurate and moving.
- Process counter sales accurately, handle payments, and answer customer inquiries.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
- Support promotional activities, setting up signage and displays to boost product visibility.
- Keep the store tidy and welcoming and greet all customers warmly.
- Load/unload trucks, unpack deliveries, and prepare orders for dispatch with care.
- Occasionally deliver products directly to farms, ensuring timely and professional service.
What You'll Bring:
- You must demonstrate a passion for customer service as well as a positive approach and the determination to succeed
- Ideally you will have exposure to or a strong passion in farming and agriculture with the enthusiasm to learn about new products
- Previous success in a retail sales or customer service role is highly advantageous
- You will be a self-motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer relationships with the ability to follow through and “get the job done” in a fast-paced environment
- You will be keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales, and be confident using computer software systems such as SAP
- You will have a current driver’s license and ideally a forklift ticket (Desirable)
