We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Marrar team. This key role will provide essential support to the branch while also driving in-store sales of our agricultural merchandise range. 

What You'll Do:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our diverse customer base includes local farmers and primary producers, and you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive and memorable experience - whether in store or over the phone.

  • Provide general branch administration support, including accounts payable, expenses, banking, stock control, ordering and receipting of merchandise
  • Maintain financial and client accounts
  • Manage and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable 
  • Manage inventory, including stocktakes, replenishment and stock processing
  • Support customers with pricing, product enquiries and general advice
  • Process counter sales and assist the broader sales team
  • Coordinate and complete on-farm deliveries as required
  • Assist with merchandising, stock presentation and store displays
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented store environment, both inside and out
  • Assist with general store upkeep, including cleaning and organisation
  • Support the team with packing and unpacking deliveries
  • Maintain and uphold safety processes and procedures within the branch

What You'll Bring:

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring experience in a team support role within a fast-paced environment, along with a genuine passion for Australian agriculture. 

  • Willing to take a hands-on approach and contribute across all areas of branch support & operations
  • Comfortable working within a small team - independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-focused mindset
  • A willingness to identify and improve internal processes
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A current driver’s license is essential 
  • Forklift license is highly desirable / or be willing to obtain 
  • MR Truck license highly desirable / or be willing to obtain
