Techcarrot is hiring a Salesforce Quality Analyst for a full-time onsite role in Dubai. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years in QA with hands-on Salesforce testing, spanning functional, integration, regression and end-to-end, plus experience crafting test plans, scenarios and scripts and managing defects in tools like Assembla. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, maintain test data and environments, and ensure new Salesforce changes do not disrupt existing functionality, while collaborating across Agile/Scrum ceremonies with developers, business analysts and product managers. QA Technical Responsibilities
  • Design and implement test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Salesforce applications.
  • Execute manual and automated testing and analyze test results to identify defects.
  • Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and report defects using Assembla or relevant defect-management tools.
  • Analyze defects, identify root causes, and provide appropriate recommendations for resolution.
  • Maintain testing documentation and provide clear test execution and quality reports.
  • Ensure new Salesforce changes and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
QA Functional Responsibilities
  • Apply strong functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM to validate business processes and system functionality.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions meet defined business requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and testing methodologies.
Self-Development & Continuous Improvement
  • Continuously develop Salesforce QA and testing skills relevant to the role.
  • Stay updated on the latest Salesforce releases, features, QA tools, and testing techniques.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and overall quality.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in QA/testing, preferably with hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce application testing, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM functionality and business processes.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing.
  • Strong knowledge of defect identification, documentation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Experience working with test data and test environments.
  • Experience using Assembla or similar defect/test management tools is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations and APIs would be an advantage.
  • Free-zone domain knowledge is an added advantage.
