About the Role

As Domain Application Lead, you will be responsible for the strategy, governance, performance, and evolution of Ingenico’s Finance & Controlling application landscape. Acting as a trusted partner to Finance stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of reliable, compliant, and business-driven solutions while supporting Finance transformation initiatives across the Group.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Application Strategy & Domain Leadership

  • Define and maintain the Finance & Controlling applications roadmap in alignment with business priorities, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on Finance systems capabilities and recommend scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Drive the evolution of the application landscape while balancing business demand, operational risks, compliance requirements, and budget considerations.

Application Management & Service Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Finance applications, including support, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Ensure high service levels and application availability, particularly during critical Finance periods such as month-end and year-end closings.
  • Monitor application performance, service quality, incidents, and recurring issues, driving root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Projects & Business Transformation

  • Lead and support Finance application projects from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, costs, quality, and delivery expectations while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure Finance applications comply with internal controls, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain data integrity, segregation of duties, and operational resilience across the application landscape.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring effective governance and decision-making processes.

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, software providers, system integrators, and application support partners.
  • Oversee service delivery, contract execution, and supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Monitor application budgets, licensing costs, maintenance spend, and project investments to ensure cost efficiency.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Drive initiatives to optimize processes, improve user experience, increase automation, and strengthen controls.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and enhance the value delivered by Finance applications.
  • Stay up to date with SAP and Finance technology trends, evaluating new solutions to support business growth and transformation.

 

Profile & Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Master's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within SAP Finance & Controlling environments.
  • Strong expertise in SAP FI/CO and good knowledge of BFC, TM1, Readsoft/Tungsten, FIS, and Kyriba.
  • Proven experience in application management, project delivery, system integrations, and vendor management.
  • Solid understanding of Finance controls, compliance, audit requirements, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations.
