Water Corporation seeks a Technical Scheduling Officer at the Canning Vale PRFS Depot, onsite with Balcatta depot duties and a 6 am start. Reporting to the Team Leader Planning & Scheduling, you will coordinate with O&M Leaders, Technical Advisors and Planners to align activities with resource forecasts and KPI targets while maintaining safety and minimising disruption. You’ll review corrective maintenance tasks and prioritise based on asset availability, criticality and process impact. Requirements include substantial scheduling or planning experience in maintenance or operations within a large infrastructure organisation. What the role will involve:
The role works closely with O&M Team Leaders, Technical Advisors, and O&M Planners to support the delivery of the work program, ensuring activities align with resource forecasts and expected productivity levels. This collaboration helps maintain clear visibility of operational priorities and enables effective planning across teams.
In addition, the role coordinates the review and assessment of corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment across M&O on how work should be prioritised. Decisions are based on key factors such as asset availability, asset criticality, and potential impacts on operational processes, ensuring maintenance efforts deliver the greatest overall value.
Key skills and experience:
· Considerable experience in scheduling and/or planning maintenance or operational activities.
· Considerable experience in field-based asset operations and maintenance in a large infrastructure-based service organisation.
