The role centers on crisis prevention and intervention, linking families to resources, supporting teachers, and delivering in-person and virtual services to advance student growth. You’ll assist with crisis planning, incident reporting, and serve as the school homeless liaison while staying current on regulations. Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work with ASW PPS or CLSW, experience with at-risk youth, and knowledge of Missouri resources; travel and 2-step authentication if offered. Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Social Worker will promote the academic mission by providing services that strengthen home/school/community partnerships and alleviate barriers to learning. The Social Worker significantly contributes to the development of a healthy, safe, and caring environment by advancing the understanding of the emotional and social development of children and the influences of family, community, and cultural differences on student successes and by implementing effective intervention strategies.
