NZSki is seeking a Schools & Groups Coordinator to manage the end-to-end experience for school and group visits at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt, onsite in Queenstown. With hundreds of schools and groups visiting Coronet Peak and The Remarkables each season, this is a key role which requires a communication and planning expert! As the Schools & Groups Coordinator you will be responsible for the entire experience of each group that visits; From booking, to billing and delivery of our products.
About the role
• Processing bookings for school groups: from initial enquiry, organising all visit details, hosting on the day, (and being available onsite to answer questions) and account reconciliation.
• Building strong inter-departmental relations in order to provide an excellent end product for our guests.
• Assisting other departments (guest services, rentals and snowsports) as needed.
• Building strong relationships with our existing and new group guests.
• Ensuring accurate and on time billing for all group visits in advance of their trips.
• Managing databases and account information, ensuring that all requests are processed in a timely manner.
About You
• At least 2 years front line customer service experience with a proven commitment to the guest service experience.
• Previous experience processing and managing client bookings on a large scale.
• Previous experience managing client accounts.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Apps, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Ability to follow procedures and absorb large quantities of information.
• An interest in learning about ski industry products and pricing (full training will be given).
• Comfortable working both inside as well as outside in a variety of alpine weather conditions.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure with the ability to adapt to quickly changing situations.
• Knowledge of NZ school systems and health and safety requirements (desired but not essential).
• An understanding that employment is subject to the vagaries of the weather and the hours of work cannot be guaranteed.
