Waypoint Analytical, a Nutrien subsidiary, is seeking a Seasonal Lab Technician in Leola, PA to prepare and analyze samples, follow SOPs, operate and maintain instruments, document results clearly, assist with inventory and supply orders, and uphold a clean, safe laboratory environment while supporting a culture of safety. The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of analytical methods and lab safety, and a willingness to work the day shift (8 am to 5 pm). What You'll Do:
- Prepare and analyze samples for a wide variety of testing procedures
- Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned
- Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
- Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner
- Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas
- Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
- Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of analytical method, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety
- Willingness and ability to work Day Shift (generally 8 am - 5 pm)
