Etihad Engineering is seeking a Security Administrator who will be the focal point for communicating the corporate security program to internal and external stakeholders, respond to reportable incidents, and manage risk through verbal and written channels such as phone, email and SMS. You’ll liaise with civil aviation authorities and contracting state programs (GCAA, TSA, Abu Dhabi Police), make critical decisions during incidents, and oversee Security Management System reports from investigation to root-cause analysis and assignment of responsibilities. The role requires a university diploma in aviation security management, CCTV and IT system knowledge, up to 3 years airport operations, and bilingual English and Arabic. Security Administrator shall act as the focal point for the communication of technical Cooperate security program information to internal and external stakeholders in response to reportable security incidents and identified situations of risk management. Verbal and written forms of communication through telephonic, email and digital SMS communication.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Shall be required formally communicate with civil aviation and other appropriate authorities in response to security incidents and specific contracting state security program requirements (UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, US Transport Security Administration and Abu Dhabi Police).
- Shall make critical decisions in response to security incidents.
- Shall read, investigate, manage and communicate security incident reports recorded via the Security Management System (SeMS). The officer shall quality manage draft narrative content of reports logged and evaluate incident information for acts of unlawful interference (AUI). The officer shall monitor and update security incident reports as and when new investigative information is available. The officer shall identify root-cause of incidents and assign event responsibilities to appropriate stakeholders.
- Shall accurately complete and communicate the results of security incident risk assessment tools as per the Security Operations Centre Handbook (SOCHB).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- University diploma preferably in aviation security management
- Knowledge of controlling CCTV system footage.
- Preferably 3 years' experience in airport operations
- IT system knowledge
- Cooperate Security background and understanding of how security procedures are designed and implemented
- Understand threat and risk management principals and processes.
- Possess an investigative and analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem solving.
- Speaks English & Arabic.
