Reporting to The Warehouse Group, this part-time Self-Checkout Team Member role in Rangiora is all about fast, friendly service at the self-checkouts on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. You’ll guide customers to the next available checkout, help bag their purchases, and back up the loss prevention team while keeping the area neat and customer-ready. The right candidate brings solid communication skills, a positive attitude, and resilience; retail or hospitality experience helps but isn’t essential. Be prepared to stand for long periods and move around the store. Often serving as the last point of contact, you'll be helping our customers through our self checkouts. Whether it providing them with speedy service or helping them pack their bags. You'll have the patience and resilience to handle even the most challenging situations easily, ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. As a mobile member of the team, you'll be quick on your feet, guiding customers to the next available checkout and responding to their needs with precision and efficiency.
You'll also be an integral part in assisting our loss prevention team, bringing concerns to their attention and ensuring the area is always customer-ready, with bags stocked and areas tidy.
