The ideal candidate has solid UAE accounting experience, strong ERP skills, and a proven grasp of UAE VAT and corporate tax, with high accuracy and deadline discipline. Persian Horizon is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting across the business.
This role is suited for someone who is hands-on, detail-driven, and confident managing the full accounting cycle in the UAE environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting , including monthly and year-end closing
- Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash movements
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax preparation , filings, and documentation
- Prepare audit files and maintain strong documentation control
- Supervise and support the Assistant Accountant , ensuring accuracy and timelines
Requirements
- Solid UAE accounting experience (mandatory)
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP / accounting software
- Good understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax in the UAE
- High level of accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail
- Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines consistently
