Senior Backend Developer Test Automation

What you’ll achieve

As the Senior Backend Developer Test Automation, you will take functional and/or non-functional lead for the implementation of medical and administrative applications, as well as re-usable application components as part of ORBIS and ORBIS U.

This includes the anticipation to the technological evolution of our product, the support and guidance of different R&D teams at different sites and esp. team work with the platform architects.

You will:

• Design and implement state of the Art responsive application inside the ORBIS U framework and integrated into the existing Java and CPL Frameworks

• Deliver re-usable application components.

• Define and design new products as well as incremental re-work of current products.

• Prepare and conduct user testing together with product managers.

• Perform design and architectural reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs.

• Work with both local and international product teams.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science and/or information systems or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

• Strong know how in Java, Jakarta Enterprise, WildFly

• Strong knowledge in Microservices architecture and distributed systems

• Practical experience in development of enterprise applications

• Experience in setting up CI environments

• Enthusiasms for modern technologies

• Strong oral and written English language skills
