AD Ports Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Abu Dhabi to blend product ownership with requirements analysis for Customs and trade facilitation solutions. The role leads elicitation, backlog prioritization, process modeling and solution validation, serving as the liaison between clients, trade stakeholders and the development team. You will own the backlog, refine user stories and acceptance criteria, develop Business Requirements Specifications, support risk management and Customs Single Window initiatives, coordinate UAT and oversee defect triage. A bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience is required; a master’s is a plus. This role requires a strong blend of product ownership, and requirement analysis experience / skills. Domain knowledge in Customs operations and trade facilitation is desirable. Lead requirements elicitation, process modelling, backlog prioritization, and solution validation to ensure that solutions meet both business objectives and operational realities in Customs solutions supplied by AD Ports.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of cluster strategies and ensure that the mission and values are maintained throughout the processes and activities.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Clients, trade stakeholders, and the development team.

  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements for risk management and Customs Single Window solutions.

  • Collaborate closely and act as the Product Owner to refine the backlog and ensure alignment with strategic goals of the business.

  • Support pre-sales and up-sales activities, including facilitating workshops, conducting requirements walkthroughs, and delivering solution demonstrations to stakeholders and potential clients as may be required from time to time.

  • Participate in the development of Business Requirements Specifications (BRS) to guide development teams, ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and traceable.

  • Analyze, document, and optimize Customs business processes, ensuring compliance with international trade standards.

  • Define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules for new features and enhancements.

  • Support configuration and testing of business rules, reference datasets, and integration points.

  • Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and gather feedback for iterative improvements.

  • Provide functional oversight on defect triaging, impact analysis, and prioritization of fixes/enhancements.

  • Ensure traceability of requirements from conception through delivery and acceptance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management , Finance, Economics or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
