Senior Business Analyst – Guidewire (Insurance)

The Role
Capco is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong Guidewire expertise to join our Insurance practice. You’ll work with leading insurers to deliver Guidewire-led transformation across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter implementations and enhancements.

Operating within complex technology and business landscapes, you will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring Guidewire solutions are aligned to underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, and distribution needs. This role sits at the heart of large-scale platform modernisation and digital insurance transformation programmes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead business analysis activities across Guidewire implementation, upgrade, or integration programmes
  • Elicit, document, and refine business and functional requirements aligned to Guidewire configuration and development
  • Facilitate workshops with underwriting, claims, operations, and IT stakeholders to define target-state processes
  • Support backlog management, user story creation, and sprint ceremonies within Agile delivery environments
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, system configuration, testing, and deployment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Business Analysis experience within Insurance (P&C, London Market, or Specialty preferred)
  • Hands-on experience working on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter programmes
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into structured functional requirements for Guidewire configuration
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery models with cross-functional technology teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Guidewire integrations, data migration, or cloud deployments
  • Exposure to Guidewire digital portals or ecosystem integrations
  • Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements impacting system design
  • Guidewire certification(s)
  • Experience supporting large-scale platform modernisation or legacy replacement programmes
