This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, creative, and proactive Senior Business Manager to represent oOh!media New Zealand’s suite of OOH offerings in the New Zealand media agency market. In this varied and exciting role, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounts as well as generating new business within the agency space in New Zealand. You’ll have direct engagement within HoldCo agencies and sell the breadth of media asset offerings across Retail and Street Furniture, covering both digital and classic print campaigns.
What You’ll Be Doing

Sales Targets & Revenue Growth: Drive market activity via a consistent and effective engagement plan. Work alongside the Group Business Director to develop bi-annual patch plans for allocated agencies/direct clients, achieving and exceeding individual and national sales targets across all products. Maintain and grow existing revenue year-on-year, introduce new client revenue, and use your negotiation skills to hit budget targets.

Account Management & Visibility: Develop and maintain solid, long-term relationships across agency and client levels through high visibility, regular meetings, networking, and WIPs. Match client needs with oOh!’s asset portfolio, maintain your agency directory, and ensure quick turnaround times for briefs and requests.

Strategic Communication & Ideas: Execute a professional, consultative approach to written and verbal communication. Use product knowledge, audience data, and market insights to deliver tailored, engaging sales presentations and solutions to clients.

Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across Sales, Media Operations, Delivery, Product & Innovation, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to maximize revenue opportunities and communicate new sales opportunities promptly.
What You’ll Bring

Experience: Prior experience as an Account Manager (AM) or Business Development Manager (BDM) working within the media agency or B2B market. Direct experience with media agency planners & buyers and/or business owners is key.

New Business Hunter: Proven success in developing new business as well as managing, expanding, and nurturing key accounts.

Storytelling & Data Insights: An innate storyteller with an excellent presentation style who understands how to use data, metrics, and external insights to influence stakeholders through thought leadership.

Technical Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with media platforms and tools (e.g., Broadsign, knOOH, Smart Reach, CRM, pDOOH SSP/DSP, Seedooh) is a strong advantage.

Core Traits: Exemplary communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills with a relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
