Greensleeves Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts in Alton to help deliver 24 hour residential, dementia and nursing care across 26 homes. You will carry out personal care, assist mobility, perform regular checks with a focus on fire safety and privacy, and support residents with hygiene needs. Essential requirements include a QCF Diploma in Social Care level 2, proven safe medication administration, understanding of confidentiality, and relevant care experience; level 3 qualification is desirable. As a Senior Care Assistant(Nights), you will:

• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• In conjunction with the Night Care Assistant, carry out regular checks on residents and on the building with special reference to fire prevention at intervals determined by the Manager and with due regard to residents’ privacy.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene, e.g. incontinence.
• Be aware of residents' whereabouts if absent from their bedroom.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Diploma in Social Care level 2 or other relevant qualification (Essential)
• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Diploma in Social Care level 3 or other relevant qualification (Desirable)
• Proven ability and experience in the safe administration of Medication (Essential)
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality (Essential)
• Experience in providing care (Essential)
