Lancashire County Council is seeking a part time Senior Care Assistant for night shifts in Burnley on a 6 weeks rolling rota, working 21:30 to 08:30 for about 23.33 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £25,185 to £25,989. The role requires an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care, with a willingness to complete level 3, and experience leading and coaching a team to deliver high quality care to older people, including those living with dementia. This Post is on a 6 weeks rolling rota, the times and shifts are as follow:

week 1:Thursday - Friday

week 2: Wednesday - Thursday

week 3: Tuesday - Wednesday

week 4: Monday - Tuesday

week 5: Sunday - Monday - Saturday

week 6: Sunday - Friday - Saturday

all shifts commence at 21:30 until 08:30

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will need to hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care and be willing to complete level 3. In addition, you will have experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.

Our committed team provides care to more than 1,000 adults across Lancashire. It runs 16 Care Homes and 13 Day Centres where the team provides support for older people, adults living with dementia and their families.
