DCJ is hiring a Senior Compliance & Governance Accountant in Parramatta for an ongoing full-time hybrid role within the Financial Control team of Strategic Finance. You will support the Manager Compliance and Governance, oversee compliance monitoring and reporting arising from Australian Accounting Standards, legislative pronouncements and Treasury directions, and lead policy development, internal control reviews, CFO certification programs, evidence collection, audits and cross‑functional process improvements. Essentials include a tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field, CA or CPA with 3+ years, solid NSW Public Sector risk and governance knowledge, and strong grounding in Australian accounting standards; senior-level audit experience is desirable. The ideal candidate is results driven, autonomous, able to explain complex financial concepts clearly, with excellent time management and writing.
