Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant / Consultant, SAP AI Workflow & Orchestration Developer to support the design and delivery of AI-enabled workflows, intelligent process automation, and orchestration solutions across SAP environments. This role is intended for a hands-on developer who can build practical AI-enabled business solutions using SAP Build Process Automation, BTP services, orchestration patterns, document-driven workflows, and human-in-the-loop controls.
The successful candidate will help operationalize AI use cases by embedding intelligence into real business processes, approvals, exception handling, and decision flows.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop AI-enabled workflows and intelligent process solutions on SAP BTP
• Build and support solutions using SAP Build Process Automation and related orchestration capabilities
• Integrate AI services, prompts, models, or decisioning components into business workflows and user journeys
• Develop workflow steps involving routing, exception handling, approvals, escalations, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Support document ingestion, retrieval, classification, grounding, and AI-assisted task execution
• Work closely with architects, developers, and functional teams to convert business use cases into delivery-ready workflows and technical components
• Support rapid prototyping, demos, and proof-of-concept activities for client-facing innovation programs
• Contribute reusable orchestration patterns, design approaches, and accelerators to Deloitte’s SAP AI capability
• Support testing, tuning, and hardening of workflow-based solutions for production use
Deloitte’s SAP practice helps clients modernize core business platforms and unlock value through cloud, automation, data, and AI. As part of our growing SAP AI capability, these roles will support the design and delivery of next-generation solutions spanning SAP BTP, S/4HANA, workflow automation, intelligent process design, and AI-enabled business transformation.
Required Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant SAP, automation, or cloud certifications are considered an asset
• Experience with workflow automation, process orchestration, or intelligent automation platforms
• Experience with SAP Build Process Automation or adjacent workflow / automation tools
• Familiarity with integrating AI services into workflows, applications, or business processes
• Understanding of approval flows, exception handling, routing logic, and enterprise process controls
• Exposure to document-driven processes, structured / unstructured content handling, or AI-assisted task execution
• Experience with APIs, service integration, and secure enterprise connectivity
• Ability to work across both business and technical teams to implement practical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration, prompting, grounding, retrieval patterns, or tool-calling concepts
• Exposure to SAP Joule, SAP Business AI, document intelligence, or AI-enabled case management
• Experience with prototyping and translating business process pain points into intelligent workflow solutions
• Previous consulting or enterprise delivery experience is an asset
• SAP certifications or intelligent automation certifications are an asset
Quebec Locations: Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients and project teams.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
