Job Description

The Talent & Leadership function is focused on building executive and senior leader capability and leadership to enable organisational evolution and the future success of SEEK.  Focus areas include talent assessment and succession planning, leadership development, talent programs, career management and leadership connection activities. 

As Senior Consultant, Talent & Leadership, you will bring both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation expertise to a function focused on building executive and senior leader capability. Working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, you will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and pivoting priorities as we test and learn what works best for SEEK. You will engage confidently with senior stakeholders, drive enterprise solutions, and demonstrate the impact of everything you build. 

You will report to the Head of Talent & Leadership and work closely with P&C teams across eight countries, key business leaders, and external partners.

This role joins our team of high performing P&C Team members. We are a commercially savvy, flexible and agile team, and truly value the power of collaboration.  Your ability to engage and influence within the P&C team and with senior internal and external stakeholders is critical to the role's success.

Responsibilities 

Collaborate within the T&L function and P&C team to shape and manage the leadership strategy, programs and practices, with a focus on creating and embedding the right initiatives to achieve SEEK strategy in alignment with its purpose and OUR SEEK principles. This includes:

  • Own SEEK's leadership development strategy - building leader capability, mindset and team performance to drive business success
  • Manage the enterprise leadership program curriculum and offerings, delivered through L&D and preferred suppliers, ensuring clear internal communication
  • Curate and manage a preferred supplier list for leadership development, equipping P&C partnering teams to make confident recommendations to business leaders
  • Establish a leadership expectations framework for SEEK and embed it across the employee experience and people practices
  • Design and deliver leadership programs for high-performing and high-potential talent, managing cohort delivery and program alumni
  • Measure and communicate the impact and effectiveness of leadership programs, with clear proof points of success
  • Curate and execute leadership connection activities that are meaningful and aligned to SEEK's business priorities
  • Partner with P&C and senior business leaders to diagnose and solve complex business problems, facilitating solutions at all levels of the organisation

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience across two or more of: organisational development, leadership development, executive assessment, succession planning, capability frameworks, or P&C business partnering
  • Proven experience designing, executing and measuring talent and leadership programs using needs analysis, evidence-based research and data
  • Demonstrated project and program delivery at both strategic and operational levels
  • Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to turn insights into enterprise-level action
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving, able to create solutions that engage and inspire peers and leaders to participate
  • Experience leveraging emerging technology, including AI tools, to support talent and leadership activities, from engaging leaders and innovating program delivery to managing workflows and data
  • Degree in HR, Business, Leadership, Organisational Development, or Psychology
  • Trusted thought partner with strong commercial judgement, balancing business needs with the nuances of human behaviour to drive leadership impact
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, able to build new programs, embed foundations and bring others along through change and uncertainty 
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to generate insights and inform decisions
  • Self-directed and thrives in a fast-paced, high-demand environment 
  • Experience in a global or multi-national business (nice to have)
