Role: Senior Copywriter

Location: Vancouver, B.C.  

 

About the role: 

OLIVER is hiring a Sr. Copywriter to join our team partnering with one of Canada’s leading apparel brands. This role requires a versatile creative professional with experience crafting compelling copy within the apparel/retail industry. If you have a kean eye for detail, and just had a visceral reaction to that spelling mistake, we want to meet you   

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Engaging headlines, subs, and content copy across all channels  
  • Combine a confident, authentic brand voice with insightful consumer education and integrated marketing efforts  
  • Write and research creative, innovative content that enhances community engagement and encourages active sharing 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate briefs into powerful content concepts  
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content 
  • Present and articulate concepts to clients while skillfully managing client feedback  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 7+ years writing in an advertising agency, with experience working on apparel/retail industries 
  • Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and well-developed project management skills 
  • Ability to manage a high volume of assets across various channels 
  • Experience presenting ideas to clients, the ability to clearly articulate your ideas 
  • An enjoyment of working in a team-oriented and collaborative style with the ability to problem-solve  
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $93,500.00 to $104,500.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
