About the team & role
Our Corporate Communications team is responsible for working with the media, analysts, policymakers and our customers and employees to share the story of Canva’s business and the universal need for visual communication. We shape the big-picture narrative behind Canva by showcasing our growth, culture and vision while also leading business, safety, crisis, policy, financial, leadership and social impact communications.
We move quickly and no two days are ever the same. As a Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you’ll support our global media relations program while acting as a strategic thought partner to a variety of stakeholders in order to tell the stories that entrench Canva as a generational defining company. Whether it’s an opinion piece, briefing materials , keynote presentation or social posts, this role will bring a strategic lens to the way we communicate with diverse audiences around the world.
This role will also focus on supporting our Head of People and developing Canva’s People and Culture narrative, highlighting unique culture stories while also building out thought leadership demonstrating the impact of visual communication on building and scaling teams, cultures and companies.
We’re looking for a meticulous and strategic communicator with proven experience shaping narratives and driving strong media relations efforts for world-class brands. The successful candidate will be comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines, independently managing complex media scenarios and doing so as a partner to key stakeholders.
