Senior Creatives leads the creative ideation, strategy and execution for our branded pitches and campaigns. They develop campaign concepts and deliver assets with confidence and consistency, whilst also mentoring junior members of the team.
They are fluent in the modern cultural and creative landscape, with a deep understanding of the cultural space Hypebeast occupies. They rely on their taste, strategic thinking and creative skills to deliver breakthrough campaigns for our clients.
You will be working on white label brand campaigns with Hypemaker, as well as editorial campaigns that live on Hypebeast media channels.
Responsibilities:
- Own campaigns across Hypebeast Editorial Channels & Hypemaker White Label projects from briefing to final delivery, working into our Creative Director.
- Be a Content Specialist - understand the roles and production constraints of different content types (especially video) on social platforms.
- Specialise in social-led activations but be familiar with creating integrated campaigns.
- Communicate and champion creative thinking and technical execution to clients throughout each project.
- Be a detail-oriented senior when it comes to approving work with overall accountability.
- Have a general understanding of production costs and feel comfortable scoping projects alongside our Client Solutions and Production teams and take responsibility for delivering projects on time and on budget.
- Challenge briefs and strategies where necessary to champion the best work.
- Understand and contribute to the team’s business objectives, taking responsibility for helping deliver them.
- Help Client Solutions and Client Project teams manage clients - balancing creative flair with production realism to set and manage expectations around projects.
- Be an ambassador for the business both internally and externally.
- Work with the leadership team to develop, assess and implement initiatives that improve the work and culture of the company.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in the creative industry. Ideally come from a creative agency, publisher, record label or production background.
- Well rounded creative, happy to lead the work, or create it hands on.
- 360 thinking, able to concept everything from fully integrated above the line brand campaigns, to niche editorial content.
- Experience overseeing the production of films, animation, 3D, design assets, still photography & live events.
- Clear and concise communication skills, able to create a compelling pitch & present it with confidence.
- Strong art direction & visual design skills, with a discerning modern taste.
- Copywriting across 360 touchpoints.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC software, Keynote, Google Slides & emerging AI tools.
- Cultural fluency in spaces relevant to our audience including: Youth culture, fashion, sports, luxury, tech, automotive food, drink & music.
