Bradken is seeking a Senior Design Engineer in Burswood, WA, a full-time on-site role that blends hands-on design with field problem solving. You will design and modify mineral processing products, produce 3D models and manufacturing drawings, perform calculations and simulations, conduct site inspections, and guide designs through release to manufacture while supporting installations and technical investigations. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, strong experience in heavy mechanical design for mining or material handling, advanced NX or similar CAD, manufacturing drawings, and knowledge of fabrication and machining. Crucial are sharp problem solving, collaboration, and customer engagement; travel to sites and Australian working rights are required. About the role
As a Senior Design Engineer, you will design and improve products used across mineral processing and material handling applications.
This is a hands-on technical role combining 3D modelling, detailed drafting, engineering analysis, manufacturing support and customer-site problem-solving. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, sales and customers to turn operational requirements into practical, safe and manufacturable product solutions.
Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, you will contribute to new product development, product optimisation and the ongoing improvement of engineering standards and processes.

Experience with structural calculations, ANSYS or other FEA tools, DEM software, Teamcenter PLM or 3D scanning technology would be highly regarded.
