TPG Telecom seeks a Senior Development Architect to set architectural direction across OSS and automation, defining blueprints, reference architectures, and guardrails; you’ll shape API driven integration, establish patterns across app, platform and infra layers, and set CI/CD, observability and security standards while championing reusable microservices. You’ll embed CI/CD, test automation and observability into delivery, mentor engineers, and present to Architecture Forums, contributing to Funding Submissions. Your opportunity:

As our valued Senior Architect, you will play a vital role in driving architectural direction, standards, and delivery outcomes across OSS and automation platforms. The role will define and maintain blueprints, reference architectures, and guardrails spanning OSS and automation domains.

You'll make impact by:

• Shape frameworks and pipelines that enable API-driven integration and simplify deployment.
• Establish cohesive patterns across application, platform, and infrastructure layers to improve reliability and speed.
• Set standards for CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices to lift delivery quality
• Guidelines, standards and review processes for solution design and implementation, ensuring security and compliance.
• Define API and integration patterns for OSS interoperability; champion reusable microservices and platform thinking.
• Embed CI/CD, test automation, and observability (logging, metrics, traces) into delivery workflows.
• Present to Architecture Forums to align decisions and share best practices.
• Prepare and contribute to Funding Submissions for strategic initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and architects; lift capability through patterns, code review and technical direction.

What you’ll bring:

• Passion for development and automation; strong understanding of orchestration principles, software development lifecycle and API design for network services.
• Proficiency in development languages (Python, TypeScript), automation tooling (Ansible, GitLab) and Kubernetes (RedHat OpenShift, Helm / Kustomize, ArgoCD).
• Demonstrate initiative and experience defining reference architectures and governance that accelerate delivery while improving reliability and security.
• Strong stakeholder leadership; ability to trade-off between multiple constraints and influence product, engineering, and operations.

Ideally, you will also have:

• Architecture/Delivery: TOGAF, ITIL/ITSM, SAFe/Agile certifications.
• Red Hat OpenShift Administrator/Architect (e.g., EX280, EX288).
• Kubernetes: CKA, CKAD, CKS.
• Cloud: AWS/Azure professional level certifications.
• Large scale HA DR asynchronous event processing on distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Postgres).
