Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Opportunity:
The Senior Director, HEOR, Europe will participate in developing the strategy and then driving execution of the tactical plan across health economics, outcomes research, and real-world evidence (RWE) to optimize the value demonstration of the Revolution Medicines oncology portfolio across European markets. They will work in concert with the Global HEOR and other regional teams to deliver an impactful evidence for select assets and disease areas. The Senior Director, HEOR, Europe will work across the European Matrix including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial and Country level teams. The Senior Director, HEOR, Europe will report to the Executive Director, HEOR, Europe and will be part of the broader extended Global HEOR/RWE and IEP team. They will participate with cross-Europe initiatives and be responsible for leading target projects and may be accountable for Global alignment on select programs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Working with the Executive Director, HEOR, Europe and the Global HEOR team will provide insights and represent the EU on initiatives from Discovery to late life cycle.
Implement HEOR strategy across Europe in support of product lifecycle planning, value evidence generation, pricing/reimbursement, and access engagements. Support JCA preparation and dossier development as well as HTA engagement and preparation
Integrated Evidence Planning: Participate from Europe within the Revolution Medicines IEP process and ensure the comprehensive plan achieves all needs for the EU markets.
Evidence Generation & Analysis: Lead development of asset specific health economic models (cost-effectiveness, budget impact), real-world evidence, burden-of-disease assessments, and outcomes research programs that support regulatory filings, HTA submissions, and payer discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Clinical Development teams to ensure HEOR insights inform decision making across the product lifecycle.
External Engagement: Represent Revolution Medicines in scientific, payer, and HTA forums; engage external stakeholders including key opinion leaders, academic collaborators, HTA bodies, and payers.
Team & Vendor Leadership: Provide asset specific project leadership to teams tasked with evidence generation across key markets; manage external collaborators (consultants, vendors) to support various HEOR projects within budget and timelines.
Communication: Support the communication of HEOR strategy, research outcomes, and value propositions to internal leadership (including European and global functions) and external audiences.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, MPH, or equivalent) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related discipline.
12+ years experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
Extensive HEOR experience (>7-10 years) in pharmaceutical/biotech/consulting settings with significant leadership exposure.
Demonstrated expertise in health economic modeling, RWE study design, outcomes research methodologies, and HTA submission experience.
Strong scientific credibility, strategic vision, and ability to influence cross-functional and external stakeholders
Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience presenting at scientific and payer forums.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated ability to drive success through cross-functional team leadership and team motivation.
