Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Opportunity:
As part of our expanding European organization, we seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Director, Europe based in Switzerland, who will play a critical role within the commercial team on the successful launch preparation for future compounds in Lung cancer and beyond, defining and prioritizing marketing needs for the European and national teams. This individual will report to the Vice President Commercial and Market Development, Europe and will partner cross-functionally with country, regional and global teams to identify, develop and evaluate market opportunities, develop strategic plans for product launches, and ensure the successful development and commercialization of our medicines in European countries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the biotech landscape and oncology treatment structures, preferably in at least one of the major European markets, and possess a strong track record of leadership in marketing, commercial development and product planning.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure patient and physician needs are identified, understood and addressed effectively and efficiently. At a national, regional and global level, interact with cross-functional teams, including Medical, Market Access, Regulatory and Sales, to analyze and interpret clinical trial data, and leverage insights to develop and implement commercialization strategies.
Adapt product positioning and value propositions based on clinical data and insights in collaboration with country, regional and Global teams.
Oversee the planning and execution of new launches in Europe, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, regulatory requirements and market access needs.
Collaborate with global, regional and national teams to support launches successfully in Europe, as well as implementing local physician and patient insights into European and Global strategy.
Work closely with Regulatory & Market Access teams to facilitate smooth launch execution and successful HTA & national reimbursement processes.
Support Market Access Europe to successfully navigate European Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA).
Provide meaningful and strategic input to Global strategy and projects.
Provide meaningful and strategic input to regional and national Commercial/Medical/Clinical/Regulatory projects.
Marketing Europe:
Lead the identification and evaluation of new opportunities for our medicines in European countries to serve patients with lung cancer.
Develop and execute comprehensive market development strategies to drive European expansion and market entry.
Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and identify key trends to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop strong and integrated Brand Plans incl. marketing strategy and tactics in collaboration with country, regional and global teams.
Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to develop regional tools and projects to support countries, in alignment with global strategy and operations.
Represent the company at international conferences, industry events, and local meetings to promote our medicines and company mission.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the field of oncology/solid tumors especially in lung cancer such as NSCLC.
Engage with KOLs to gather insights, validate launch plans, and support market development activities.
Enhance the company's scientific and commercial credibility in Europe.
Provide regular updates to senior management and global/regional/national teams on the progress of marketing and commercialization, including milestones, challenges and opportunities.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:
Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD, PharmD or equivalent) in a relevant field such as biotechnology, life sciences, or business administration.
12+ years of experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market development, marketing, product planning, or commercial strategy, with a focus on oncology.
Experience successfully launching and commercializing products in European markets, with a preference for thorough experience in major markets.
Track record of supporting Market Access in European and national HTA and reimbursement processes (e.g. JCA, AMNOG, HAS, AIFA etc) is an asset.
Experience in a field-based position and/or managing Sales Force teams.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, significant project management capabilities.
Excellent communication, customer interaction, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and work effectively with global, regional and national cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and scientific societies.
Experience working in fast-paced, innovative, clinical-stage biotech organizations.
Ability to translate deep scientific understanding and customer insights into creative strategies.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
