This is a senior specialist role for an engineer who enjoys influencing outcomes, mentoring others, and implementing solutions that stand the test of time — technically, commercially, and socially.
You’ll lead the development and maintenance of distribution standards, specifications, and asset strategies — ensuring they are practical, compliant, and aligned with long-term network performance and safety outcomes.
From asset strategies and business cases to regulatory submissions and performance planning, you’ll take a holistic view — balancing risk, cost, safety, and reliability in every decision.
You’ll produce high-quality board papers, business cases, and reports that clearly explain technical issues, options, and recommendations — enabling confident decision-making at all levels.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, service providers, regulators, and industry peers, contributing positively to Jemena’s culture and fostering respectful, constructive collaboration.
You’ll investigate asset performance issues, incorporate learnings into standards and specifications, and champion improvements in systems, data, and technologies that strengthen network outcomes.
