Senior Engineer Technology Infrastructure will join our Geneva based team to drive IT, OT and Communications technology across TiL terminals, shaping architectures for greenfield projects and upgrades while ensuring security and reliability. You will implement the technology blueprint, monitor project delivery, assess risks, and coordinate with partners to spread best practices across our global portfolio, plus contribute to annual budget cycles and strategic technology investments. For a strong application, emphasize 3 to 5 years of IT experience, preferably in ports or terminals, an MSc in a related field, solid knowledge of security, networks, databases and storage, ability to explain complex topics to non specialists, and excellent English written and spoken skills plus proven stakeholder management.

Main Responsibilities
We are currently
seeking a Senior Engineer Technology Infrastructure to
join our growing team based in Geneva, Switzerland. You will be responsible to
contribute to the successful development and implementation of Technology
related projects that support TiL’s portfolio of terminals and projects; this
includes Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) and Communications
Technology (Comms) in support of terminal projects under (re)development and
single-disciplinary projects in existing terminals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Apply TiL’s Technology strategy in support of our global network of terminals,
Work along the Technology blueprint for (greenfield) projects, and suggest improvements where applicable,
Implement system architectures that can accommodate disparate systems and interfaces, and allow for future growth and change, while ensuring systems’ security and reliability,
Contribute to and monitor the implementation of Technology projects in our Projects and Terminals,
Review Terminal’s systems and development plans to identify risks, opportunities, and best practices
Coordinate and work with TiL’s partners to implement Technology best practices across the terminal portfolio,
Support Projects and Terminals in the implementation of practices for Technology related matters, to achieve their objectives,
Take part of the annual Technology budget cycle for Headquarter and Terminals, including analyses for the selection of strategic Technology investments.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant information technology experience, preferably Ports and Terminals,
MSc degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field,
Knowledge of Container Terminals and the management thereof,
Knowledge of available Technology and proven Solutions including their respective pros and cons,
Excellent understanding of system security, network architecture, database and storage systems, and communications technology,
Proficient in English, both written and spoken,
Ability to communicate and present in a concise and effective way,
Capability to convey expert subjects to non-experts,
Developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders: management, internal departments, terminal or project teams, consultants.
