Landmark Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior Executive, Learning and Development, for a full‑time onsite role to design, implement and evaluate learning programs that drive business results. You will lead needs analysis, program design for in person and online formats, delivery, leadership development, performance management integration, and compliance training while exploring new learning technologies and LMS tools. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field with proven L&D experience, strong adult-learning and facilitation skills, and tech fluency. The Senior Learning & Development Executive will be responsible for developing, executing, and evaluating learning programs that align with organizational goals. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in learning and development, a passion for employee growth, and the ability to create impactful training experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand specific team needs and development goals.
2. Learning Program Design:
- Develop engaging and effective learning programs, both in-person and online.
- Design curriculum, training materials, and resources for various skill levels.
3. Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars to diverse audiences.
- Utilize various training methods, including e-learning platforms, to accommodate different learning styles.
4. Leadership Development:
- Design and implement leadership development programs to nurture and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders for their continuous professional development.
5. Performance Management Support:
- Collaborate with the HR team to integrate learning initiatives with performance management processes.
- Align training programs with career development and succession planning.
6. Learning Technology Utilization:
- Explore and implement innovative learning technologies to enhance training effectiveness.
- Evaluate and recommend learning management systems and other tools.
7. Evaluation and Feedback:
- Implement evaluation mechanisms to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Gather participant feedback and make continuous improvements to training content and delivery.
8. Compliance Training:
- Ensure that mandatory compliance training programs are developed and delivered.
- Keep abreast of industry regulations and update training content accordingly.
9. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other HR functions, including Recruitment and Employee Relations, to support overall HR initiatives.
- Work with department leaders to align training programs with business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on creating impactful training programs.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in learning management systems.
