We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant at our Amsterdam HQ, 32-40 hours.

What our Senior Financial Accountants do

Own the financial administration of multiple legal entities, taking end-to-end responsibility from invoice processing to reporting

Act as the right hand to the Finance Manager and support the day-to-day coordination of Record-to-Report activities

Support month-end close processes, helping to plan, prioritise, and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting

Prepare, review, and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, estimates, and corrections

Review and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities prior to consolidation

Partner with colleagues across stores and HQ, providing meaningful financial insights and support

Support payroll accounting processes and perform related reconciliations

Assist with cash management activities, including payment runs and VAT submissions

Maintain fixed asset and prepaid expense registers and ensure related reconciliations are accurate

Contribute to business cases, financial analyses, and other ad hoc projects

Support the annual audit process and collaborate with external auditors

Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting, and ways of working
You have
-
A solid foundation in accounting and finance, supported by a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5–7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting or a similar role

Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding the story behind the numbers

Experience with fixed asset accounting is a plus

Confidence working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and new challenges

A solution-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving

Strong Excel skills and comfort working with formulas and financial data

Experience with Odoo ERP is a significant advantage

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

What we offer

The salary range for this role is €50,000 – €75,000 gross per year based on full-time, including 8% holiday allowance. The salary within this range depends on years of experience.
